Dr. Jill Explains Country’s Economy is on Recess Not in a Recession

The current First Lady occupying the White House is apparently more than a student educator, she’s an economic advisor and national educator.

During a formal function at the White House on Friday, Dr. Jill explained that two consecutive quarters of negative growth is not really a recession, but the economy’s way of taking recess.

“The economy is out playing kickball and hopscotch on the world’s playground,” she said. “Once Joe blows the whistle, the economy will return to the classroom and start performing much better.”

“When will the President blow the whistle?” a Fox News reporter asked.

“Well, it might take a little time,” she replied. “With Joey in COVID timeout, it may be a while. Plus, the economy is sleepy and may want to take a nap after recess. It may be awhile before it’s ready to come back.”

“Does the president agree with your explanation about recess versus recession?” asked another reporter.

“Of course he does,” Dr. Jill said. “He knows better than to cross me. I’m a teacher. And I’m his wife. And I’m the First Lady. What’s he gonna do? Fire me? That’s not gonna happen after all the crap I’ve put up with all these years.”

A staffer jumped in and immediately ushered Dr. Jill out of the room.
